Day 1 : PHNOM PENH -SIEM
REAP
Morning transfer to
Phnom Penh Airport. Departure by flight from Phnom
Penh to Siem Reap. at arrival in Siem reap, transfer to your
hotel . Siem Reap is the nearest town to the famous complex of
Angkor.From the 9th to 15th century, Angkor was the heart of
a sophisticated civilisation. We will see massive stone monuments.
We start by visit the "Great City" of Angkor Thom.
Visits include the famous Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple
within the Royal Palace enclosure , Baphuon Temple, the Terrace
of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon
dedicated to visit the most famous temple magnificent Angkor
Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the
12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. Beautifull
carved bas- reliefs on the outer walls and corridors, depicting
mythological scenes of Ramayana and day to day life at the time
of Angkor's building.
DAY 2:ANGKOR
We will visit on the
morning, a selection of temples, including the Royal City
of Preah Khan with carved stone lanterns and impressive sculptures,
Neak Pean a shrine built on a small circular island, Ta
Som, East Mebon with false doors decoration and lintels and
Preah Rup.
Afternoon will include Thommanon, Takeo, one of Angkor's
great mountains temple, Ta Prohm who become part of the
jungle, Banteay Kdei with attractive carvings, Srah
Srang, Prasat Kravan unique brick sculptures, and Bakheng
Temple on the top of a hill with spectacular views over Angkor
Wat and sunset on all Angkor site.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP / PHNOM
PENH/ DEPARTURE
Transfert to Siem reap airport and
domestic flight from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. (included)
