Day 1: ARRIVAL SIEM REAP/
ANGKOR VISIT
Morning arrival
at Siem Reap airport. Transfer to your hotel . Siem Reap
is the nearest town to the temple complex of Angkor. From the
9th to 13th Century, Angkor was the heart of a rich and sophisticated
civilization. You will see massive stone monuments, wide majestic
causeways, imposing gateways and towers - all in a wonderful
jungle setting.
Morning you will visit with your prived professional guide, the
"Great City" of Angkor Thom, visits include
the famous Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within
the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the
Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon dedicated to visit the most famous & magnificent
Angkor Vat temple.
This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century
and covers an area of about 210 hectares.With many galleries
with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full
of water, carved bas-reliefs about Ramayana Story and day-to-day
life at the time of Angkor's construction.
At the end of afternoon,
following the season, since the Mountain Bakend, the sunset
on all the temples, with spectacular views over Angkor Vat.
Day 2: ANGKOR VISIT
Morning visit of a
selection of temples, including the Royal City of Preah Khan
whi impressive sculptures, Neak Pean built on a small
circular island, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup.
Afternoon we will continue our visits by Thommanon temple
, Ta keo , one of Angkor's great temple mountains, Ta
Prohm with a part of the jungle, Banteay Kdei, Srah
Srang a Royal bathing place, Prasat Kravan with unique
brick sculpturesWe will visit Les Chantiers Ecole, a handicraft
center located in the center of Siem Reap. Les Chantiers Ecole
was founded in 1992 and its goal is to revive that ancient Khmer
art. This organization gives young people the opportunity to
learn the art of stone, wood carving, and silk weaving .
Day 3: SIEM REAP TO PHNOM
PENH By Boat.
Transfert from your hotel at 6 Am to a speed-boat trip to
Phnom Penh (departure at 7 Am), on the way from the boat,many
scenic views of the Cambodian rural life along the riverbank
(optional by air 50 dollars extra). At arrival, private car and
guide waiting you and transfer to the hotel.car we start to visit
Phnom Penh . Situated at the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle
Sap Rivers, the Cambodia's capital city look like a big village-
town where French colonial influences can still be seen in old
buildings restored.
we will start by visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda
. The Palace is a magnificent example of Khmer architecture,
it was built in 1866. You will see the Throne Hall and the Napoleon
III Pavilion. Silver Pagoda is one of the richest shrines in
the world . The floor is made of 5.000 silver tiles. Then, we
visit the National Museum, a Khmer red pavilion, which
is dedicated to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority are from
the Angkor period (9th to 15th century), a. Overnight in Phnom
Penh.
Day 4: PHNOM PENH /
DEPARTURE
