Day 1: arrival
at Phnom Penh. In the arrival to Phnom Penh, reception
at the airport by a member of our office(desk) and transfer to
the hotel in the center of Phnom Penh. Beginning of the guided
tours ( including english speacking guide, and private Transport).
Wat Phnom Pagoda and the national museum (with
many statues from Angkor). Sunset by boat in the confluence
of Tonlé Sap and the Mekong.
Day 2: The
morning visits of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda,
and departure with guide and private vehicle to Takeo,
on the way visit of the sites of Tonle Bati, Ta Phrom
and Yeay Peau, as well as Phnom Chisor. At night
in simple hotel in Ta Keo ( Guesthouse with air conditionned
and attach bath)
Day 3: Departure by boat for Phnom
Da, visit of the city of Angkor Borei (the ancient
capital of the Fou Nan). Visit of the Museum and return
to Pnhom Phen. The same hotel.
Day 4: Departure
with private car and guide to Kompong Cham (temple of
Vat Nokor) and Kompong Thom. Free visit at end of
afternoon. Night in Kompong Thom in standard hotel.(air
conditionned and attach bath)
Day 5: Departure
with guide and private vehicle for a Discovery of Sambor Prei
Kuk's temples, certainly the most beautiful examples of the
art Pré-Angkorien of the VIIth century. Night in Kompong
Thom in hotel.
Day 6: Departure in private vehicle for
about 3 hours drive to Siem Reap. At arrival, transfert
to hotel and short visit of Siem reap. At 4.30 PM, we will go
on Angkor site for look Angkor Wat from outside and after go
to Phnom Bakhend temple to watch the sunset on
Angkor Wat and others temples.
Day 7: From the 9th to 13th century, Angkor
was the heart of a rich and sophisticated civilization. You will
see massive stone monuments, wide majestic causeways, imposing
gateways and towers, all in a wonderful jungle setting.. Morning you will visit with your prived professional
guide and private car, the "Great City" of Angkor
Thom, visits include the famous Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas
Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon
Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of
the Leper King..
Day 8: Departure with your guide and
private vehicle,day dicated to visit the most famous & magnificent
Angkor Wat temple. This architectural masterpiece was constructed
in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.With
many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards
and ponds full of water, carved low-reliefs about Ramayana Story
and day-to-day life at the time of Angkor's construction.
Day 9: Departure
with your guide and private vehicle, to Morning visit of a selection
of temples, including the Royal City of Preah Khan with
impressive sculptures, Neak Pean built on a small circular
island, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup.
Afternoon we will continue our visits by Thommanon temple,
Ta keo , one of Angkor's great temple mountains, Ta
Prohm with a part of the jungle, Banteay Kdei, Srah
Srang a Royal bathing place, Prasat Kravan with unique
brick sculptures. We will visit Les Chantiers Ecole, a
handicraft center located in the center of Siem Reap. Les Chantiers
Ecole was founded in 1992 and its aim is to revive that ancient
Khmer art. This organization gives young people the opportunity
to learn the art of stone, wood carving, and silk weaving .
Day 10: Departure
with your guide and private vehicle. Morning we will visit the
enchanting Banteay Srei. It appears that the temple was
designed to leave no space undecorated, and the fine carvings
in pink sandstone are unique. We will continue after by car to
a little chain of hills. near Kobal Spien and continue
our journey on foot, approximately 40 minutes walk by jungle
path. We will discover that the riverbed and the rocks around
are covered with carvings representing the gods of the Hindu
religion dating as the 11th century, its the "thousand
Lingas Rivers" The water runs over the sculptures of
Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Rama and many Lingas, which were carved
in stone in the past to sanctify the water and Gods.
After this visit, we will go to Banteay Samre, with elaborate
architecture and exceptional carvings, and we will visit of a
local village. and visit of Baray Oriental sites, built by
Rajendravarman : Banteay Kdey, Pré Rup, Preasat
Khleang, Mébon Oriental.
Day 11: This morning we will enjoy a boat
ride on the Tonle Sap lake. This is the largest permanent
fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap
River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's
"floating village" with floatting schools, floatting
police station, etc. It is same as a big village floatting on
the lake, and the "village" move from place to place
following water levels and curant.
afternoon, we will visit Siem Reap central market and
the Silk Farm in Puok, established by a French NGO to
revive Cambodia's beautiful silk production. We can see every
step of silk production .
Day 12: Depending
of your departure time, visit of Siem Reap.'s market.
Transfer at the airport 2h 1/2 before the departure of your plane.
